The concert choir \"Voices of Munich\"<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Voices of Munich, the concert choir of the School of Choral Art, offers comprehensive musical training that includes vocal coaching, choir rehearsals, ear training, and music theory. Special emphasis is placed on the development of musical memory, a diverse repertoire, and vocal flexibility.<\/p>

The choir regularly performs in concerts, festivals, special projects, and opera productions, including collaborations with the Bavarian State Opera and the Tyrolean Festival. In 2023, the Voices of Munich won 3rd place in the category \"Children\u2019s Choirs up to 16 years\" at the 11th German Choir Competition. In 2024, the choir participated in the Vox Lucensis International Choir Competition in Lucca, winning two gold diplomas in the categories \"Children\u2019s Choirs\" and \"Sacred A Cappella Music.\"<\/p>

In 2025, the choir took part in the European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations in Aarhus, Denmark, winning two gold medals in the categories \"Children\u2019s Choirs\" and \"Sacred A Cappella Music.\"<\/p>

The choir also promotes international exchange, as seen in a concert tour to Greece in June 2024.<\/p>

In addition to musical excellence, the choir places great importance on community and the personal development of its members.<\/p>

Children from the age of 9 will find the perfect environment in our concert choir to further develop their existing skills and gain a broader understanding of music as a flexible and versatile art form.<\/p>

The contents of our concert children's choir<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

While in the pre and basic choirs, the focus was on the musical introduction to choral singing and the first development of a vocal basis, in the concert children's course, the children learn more complex techniques, advanced music theory such as comprehensive knowledge of music notation and the further development of their own voice.<\/p>

Choirmaster Maksim Matsiushenkau teaches the children extended techniques for polyphonic singing, varied musical strokes and shadings, and chromaticism, with piano accompaniment by Kaori Kashimoto.<\/p>

As part of the concert ensemble, the children will take part in many concerts, some of them large, and will be able to express and perform their musical talents on stage in front of a wide audience.<\/p>

Our choir rehearsals for the Concert Children's Choir take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 17:00 to 19:00.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
