The children's choirs of our School of Choral Art in Munich
Our children's choirs are the core of what we do. Children from the age of 4 can discover and develop their musical skills together with us.
The children not only learn a lot but also have a lot of fun. You are also welcome to register your child for a casting with us.
The right choir for every child
Our children's choirs are divided into a total of three different groups, from the pre-course children's choir to the concert children's choir.
This gives the children the opportunity to develop their skills together through play and to support each other.
It is important to us not to maintain separate boys' and girls' choirs but to offer all children a common platform. There are currently around 70 children in our choirs. Apart from a good singing voice, there are no prerequisites for participation.
Why is the concept of our choir school so enriching for your child?
First of all, your child is sure to have a good time with us because, in addition to serious musical work, we also have a lot of fun together. At the same time, taking part in lessons and singing in the choir supports your child's natural development into a healthy, clever, educated, open-minded, sensitive, and musical young man or woman.
What a musical education in our children's choir offers your child
Singing and music play an important role in mental development, especially in the area of creativity.
Choral singing broadens the horizon and supports the personality development of your child.
Singing also supports language development and has been shown to have a positive impact on written language comprehension.
Singing promotes correct breathing technique and posture, which has a positive effect on health.
Attention, memory, sense of rhythm and musical hearing are also trained specifically and regularly.
At the same time, our choir community offers a healthy environment for personal social competence. Teamwork, communication, respect, tolerance, and friendly interaction play important roles in our everyday choir life.
Your child will celebrate a sense of achievement with us, learn to grow and overcome problems and hurdles, pull together as a team, and achieve more together.

Auditions for our children's choirs
Dear children,
So that we can get to know you and your voice personally, we cordially invite you to a free audition for our children's choirs. We are a mixed choir, which means that boys and girls sing together. Anyone can join!
At the audition, you can choose two children's or folk songs, which you can then perform for the director of the choir school, Maksim Matsiushenkau. Afterwards, he will do some vocal exercises with you to see how well you can sing the melodies and rhythms. The whole thing takes about 15 minutes.
You can also learn to read music and play instruments like the piano if you like. So, if you want to be part of our children's choirs, we look forward to hearing from you!
